“Doran? It’s nearly supper time.” Dani stuck her head into the barn. “Mama asked me to tell you and Evan and Andric to come in.”

She stooped and petted the purring Hudson who was winding around her legs. “Where is Andric?”

Doran shrugged. “He went for a run in the woods. He said he would not be gone long.”

“I’m going to go look for him.” She replied.

Doran frowned. “You should not go into the woods alone, Dani.”

“I won’t go far.” Dani answered.

“Dani – “

“You are not the boss of me, Doran.” Dani said firmly before leaving the barn.

Doran stared at Evan who shrugged. “You aren’t.”

Dani walked quickly through the trees. There was no sign of Andric and she sighed before leaning against a large oak tree. It was foolish of her to look for him. Despite what Bree had told her earlier, she knew she would never have the guts to keep throwing herself at him. She needed to accept that he might want her but he would not take her the way she wanted him to. She was being pathetic.

A strong wind was blowing and she shivered inside her jacket. She might as well go back to the warmth of the house. Andric would come back when he was ready and she –

She paused as there was movement in the bushes ahead of her. She ducked behind the tree and peered around it as Andric in his wolf form, came strolling out of them. He moved to a tree and shifted. She stared at his naked ass as he bent and picked up his pants from the base of the tree. He slipped into them and she watched as, instead of buttoning them, he hesitated and then leaned against the tree with his back to her.

She stared curiously as he reached into his pants. His arm moved in a firm up and down motion and her face coloured when she realized abruptly what he was doing. He moaned softly and the motion of his arm increased as she stepped away from the tree.

You should not be watching this. Turn around and go back to the house before he catches your scent. She told herself firmly.

Instead of leaving, she drifted closer, fascinated by the sounds of his soft moans and gasps. A gust of wind rattled through the trees, blowing her long hair around her face, and he stiffened. His head came up and he inhaled deeply before he cursed under his breath.

“Go away, Danielle.” He said roughly, without turning around.

Instead of doing what he asked, she moved up behind him and peered around his half-naked body. She inhaled sharply at the sight of his cock. He was holding the base of it in his hand and she stared unabashedly at the hard length of it.

“Danielle, go away. Please.” He said quietly.

“No.” She touched his naked back. It was warm, despite the cold, and she smiled to herself when his breath hissed out between his teeth.

“Touch yourself, Andric. I want to watch.” She demanded softly.
